DealsByPost.com is a dynamic and user-friendly eCommerce website designed and developed to showcase deals and products with advanced filtering, seamless shopping experiences, and strong SEO foundations. The objective was to create a visually appealing, highly functional online store that drives user engagement and conversions while being easy to manage and scale.

Discovery & Planning

  • Gathered requirements from the client

UX & UI Design

  • Designed wireframes and high-fidelity mockups

Development

  • Built the site using WordPress with WooCommerce

  • Created and customized templates for:

    • Search results

    • Checkout and cart flows

Responsive & Cross-Device Optimization

  • Ensured pixel-perfect display on:

    • Desktop

    • Tablet

    • Mobile

  • Used media queries and flexible grid layouts

Performance & SEO Optimization

  • Optimized page speed (image compression, lazy loading)

  • Implemented schema markup and SEO best practices

I was responsible for all stages of the project — from discovery to launch:

1. Challenge: Users Overwheled by Too Many Products

  • Problem:
    The platform offers a wide range of products and deals, which initially made it difficult for users to quickly find what they were looking for.

    Solution:

    • Designed a clear information hierarchy

    • Introduced intuitive product filters (category, price, relevance)

    • Used visual cues such as badges, spacing, and typography to highlight deals
      ➡️ Result: Users could scan and find relevant products faster, improving usability and engagement.

2. Challenge: Improving Product Discoverability

  • Problem:
    Important products and offers were not getting enough attention due to poor visibility.

    Solution:

    • Designed prominent call-to-action (CTA) buttons

    • Used card-based layouts with consistent spacing

    • Highlighted featured and best-selling products visually
      ➡️ Result: Increased interaction with product listings and smoother browsing experience.

3. Challenge: Inconsistent User Experience Across Devices

  • Problem:
    The initial design did not translate well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

    Solution:

    • Created a mobile-first design approach

    • Optimized tap targets, spacing, and font sizes

    • Simplified navigation for smaller screens
      ➡️ Result: A consistent, seamless experience across all screen sizes.

4. Challenge: Complex Checkout Flow Causing Drop-Offs

  • Problem:
    Users were abandoning the cart due to a long and confusing checkout process.

    Solution:

    • Redesigned checkout with clear step-by-step flow

    • Reduced visual clutter and unnecessary fields

    • Used progress indicators and clear form labels

5. Challenge: Visual Trust & Brand Credibility

  • Problem:
    As an online deals platform, building trust with first-time visitors was critical.

    Solution:

    • Applied a clean, professional UI design

    • Added trust signals (secure checkout icons, clear pricing, reviews layout)
